This stunning vintage case handbag is made of red vinyl wicker over a rectangular hard shell. It closes securely with a metal twist lock on the top and the base is protected by 4 brass studs. The handles were originally gold metal but are more silver over time and are hinged and foldable. The lid folds completely back to access the interior.
The inside is lined with a striped cotton. There are some small marks from colour transfer over the years but they don’t detract from functionality at all. Lining has been laundered and is ready for use.
The arched handles are rigid and sturdy. As practical as it is spectacular and secure.
Excellent condition. Please note this is a vintage item and has been loved, it may show small signs of wear from being over 60 years old.
