This French 1970s vintage dress is really unusual and I’m really taken with it. It has a fold down feature collar on the front with layers of red and black. It could also be pinned with a brooch so it’s all the same pattern on show. The fabric is beautiful - pattern clash of striped colour blocks.
It buttons at the neck with one button and has an elasticated waist. Pockets hidden at hip level in the skirt. It looks lovely paired with a red jacket. There is a small hole in the red lapel (cigarette ash?) but you have to look closely to see it.
