This stunning 1950s vintage handbag is made of vinyl wicker over an oval hard shell. It has been sensitively repurposed in colour to a glossy orange which is a beautiful contrast to the leather and metal handles.
It closes securely with a metal twist lock on the top and the base is protected by 4 brass studs. The handles are decorated with a twist effect and are hinged and foldable.
The inside is lined with a hardwearing cream vinyl and has 1 open pocket which is metallic gold. There are some small marks on the inside and the edges of the pocket are slightly torn but they don’t detract from functionality at all.
The twisted arched handles are rigid and sturdy. As practical as it is spectacular and secure.
Excellent condition. Please note this is a vintage item and has been loved, it may show small signs of wear from being over 60 years old.
