This sensational wicker handbag, made in Japan, has a strong-wearing fabric face embroidered with a floral motif in shades of pink, maroon, yellow, greens, blues and browns.
The folding handles are made of actual wood (most likely bamboo). It closes securely on the top with an ornate brass lock.
The inside has loads of room and is lined with a hard-wearing white vinyl which is in great condition and easy to keep clean. It has a 5” x 3.5” zipped pocket inside.
Bag is in great condition – exceptional given its age. It’s as sturdy, secure and functional as it is elegant and has 4 golden metal protective studs on the base.
