Lovely vintage bag that has been woven in golden tan wicker with amber honey lucite handles and clasp-buckle with contrasting metal clasp. Handles are sturdy and made from hard-wearing lucite, attached to the bag with silver metal brackets. The front has a diagonal stripe woven into the wicker.
The inside compartment is large with plenty of room and has one zip pocket. The inner lining is a bright orange fabric. There are a couple of punctures in the fabric on the inside but nothing to detract from this stunning rare bag. The bag can stand alone with the aid of four golden metal protector studs on the base.
Bag is in great condition considering it is over 60 years old. Body of the bag measures 11.5” x 8.25” x 4.25" (excluding the 4" high carry handles).
