It closes with 3 translucent buttons at the front and has a 19" hem-split at the back. The storm flap covers the back and upper right front and has a small black mid section at the back with a button closure.
It has 2 generous pockets, one with a beautiful contrasting striped little swatch on the top of the opening. The cuffs can be turned back to show off the striking pinstriped lining.
