This beautiful vintage 1950s basket handbag is made of yellow vinyl wicker over a hard shell. The top has been decorated with vintage fruits and green leaves.
It closes securely with a golden twist lock on the front and the base is protected by 4 brass studs. The inside is lined with a hardwearing yellow vinyl (easy to keep clean) and has a 3/4 size zipped pocket.
The handle is sturdy and static (doesn’t fold down). The lid completely opens so you have full access to the interior and the handbag has been threaded with an orange velvet ribbon around the outside.
Excellent condition. Some of the velvet fruit have been scuffed over time but it doesn’t detract from the bag in anyway - it is stunning!
