What an absolutely stunnin handbag, made in Hong Kong, with a black and white zig-zag woven vinyl wicker shell. The flip-top lid closes securely at the front with a large black triangular faux-leather golden studded buckle over a pale golden clasp. The collapsible handle is covered in a black faux-leather and attaches to the top central leather strip with a pair of golden metal thimbled hinges. The opening frame is reinforced along the lid with two strong wires tightly wrapped in black vinyl. The top frame of the body is further adorned with a thin diagonal weave above a longer weave.
The inside has loads of room and is lined with a hard-wearing cream vinyl which is in very good condition and easy to keep clean. It has a full-length open pocket at the front and a 5.5” x 3.2” zipped pocket on the back.
Bag is in excellent condition with only the most minor of blemishes on the inside lining – pretty astounding given it is over 60 years old.
