This exceptional white wicker handbag has a wonderful seaside-themed face with about 30 real shells, tiny starfish and pearl beads in lovely shades of pink, purple, cream, pearlescent and brown. The shells rest on a white hexagonal netting containing gold thread highlights.
The collapsible handles are a beautiful marbled pearlescent lucite. It closes securely on the top with a white lucite and golden metal lock. It also has a white pearlescent protective spine along the top.
The inside has loads of room and is lined with a hard-wearing white vinyl which is in excellent condition and easy to keep clean. It has a full-size zipped central pocket as well as a half-height/full length open pocket on one side.
Bag is in excellent condition – exceptional given its age. It’s as sturdy and functional as it is elegant and has 4 golden metal protective studs on the base. Some of the small shells have come loose from their glue over the years but are still inside the plastic pouch.
